about me

Dr Bernice N. Nderitu

Clinical Psychologist, Psy.D.

I am Dr. Bernice Nderitu, a clinical psychologist based in Kenya. Having lived and worked in the Eastern Africa region and The United States of America, I bring unique experiences and perspectives into psychotherapy. The lived experience between the two cultures helps me relate to Africans in the diaspora, digital nomads, ex-pats, third-culture people, and immigrants. My practice focuses on working with this diverse group of people.

My specialties are working with all forms of trauma, life transitions, loss and grief, identity struggles, depression, anxiety, and neurodivergent individuals. My research interests are neuroscience, suicide prevention, emotional trauma, and cultural adaptation of psychological measures.

I enjoy working with adolescents and adults. If you are looking to work with a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and inclusive therapist, look no further. Book an appointment to see if we are a good fit. I would be honoured to journey toward better mental health with you!
